Karachi: 19th Mar. 2010: A 16-man Disabled Pakistani cricket team left Friday for matches in Malasia and Singapore, becoming the countrys 1st physically challenged cricketers to embark on a forien tour.The team cleared by PCB to tour, will take up invitations to play two matches in Malaysia and three in Singapore.
& Since the formation of the disable cricket team we have progressed beyond imagination but these two forien tours are a huge step forward for us and now we are can show the world that being disabbled is no obstacle & said Salim Karim. He also said that & these team has players from all over Pakistan and before playing cricket abroad these players will first realize their dreams of boarding a plane-for 1st time in their lives. &
& we have applied for PCB affiliation adn once we get that we have invitations from England and the United States, so with this first ever tour we have taken a start which will go a long way,& said by Salim Karim.
