Multan: (Sports Reporter): Punjab out class Baluchistan by 10 and annex the Title of 5th NBP Disabled T-20 Pentangular Cup 2014 after defeating Baluchistan Disabled here on yesterday at District Sports Ground Multan.
Man of the match left arm Medium Pacer Muhammad Zeeshan captured 3 wickets only for 6 runs in 2.1 Overs.
Abdullah Ejaz Captain of Punjab Disabled Team won the Toss and decided to field 1st. Baluchistan Disabled were bundled out only for 48 runs 10.4 overs. Majid Hussain with 8 runs was the top scorer from the loser side. Left Arm Medium Pacer Muhammad Zeeshan took 3 wickets for 6 runs, Left Arm Medium Pacer Captain Abdullah Ejaz captured 3 wickets for 20 runs while Off Spinner Muhammad Abid grabbed 2 wickets only for 11 runs.
In reply Punjab Disabled Team reach their target without any lose of wicket and scored 49 in 6.2 overs. Shahbaz Ali bated beautifully made 33* runs in 25 balls with 4×4 and 6×1, Iftikhar Khurram 10* in 14 balls.
On the occasion of Prize Distribution Ceremony Chief Guest Regional Head NBP Multan Muhammad Farrukh Ghouri with Hon. Rao Javed (112 Runs) (Sindh) was awarded, Best Batsman, Muhammad Ameer (Baluchistan) (7 wkts 47 runs) Best Bowler, Abdullah Ejaz (Punjab) 80 runs and 8 wkts (Player of the Tournament), Ashfaq Ahmed (Shakir) (6 Catch) (Best Fielder) and Muhammad Zeeshan (Punjab) (3 wkts 6 runs) (Man the Match) received Cash Prize Rs. 2500 each.
Chief Guest Regional Head NBP Multan Muhammad Farrukh Ghouri appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association especially to President Saleem Karim, Hon.
