Multan: (Sports Reporter): Punjab beat Sindh by 7 wickets while defeated Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa by 1 wicket and got 3rd consecutive wins in a row on the 2nd day of 5th NBP Disabled T-20 Pentangular Cup 2014 at District Sports Ground Multan on yesterday. Punjab won all three matches in the event.
Punjab Disabled Team Captain Abdullah won the toss and decided to field 1st. Sindh Disabled scored 116-9 in allotted 20 Overs. Captain Rao Javed (18 in 22 balls 4×1), Kashif Tandulkar (17 in 15 balls), Muhammad Kalam (16* in 11 balls 4×2) were the main scorer from the loser. Left Arms Spinner Zulfiqar grabbed 3 wickets only for 26 runs while Off Spinner Hamid Sabri captured 3-21 bowled superbly.
In reply Punjab were reached their target 117-3 in 15.2 Overs. All rounder Hamid Sabri scored a brilliant half Century (60 in 39 balls 4×4, 6×2), Iftikhar Khurram (28 in 23 balls 4×3), Perveez Aslam (15* in 13 balls 4×1) batted will.
In the 2nd match Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa scored 122-8 in 20 Overs. Muhammad Ullah scored (43 in 37 Balls 4×3), Hayat Khan made (23 in 24 Balls 4×2), Asif Ali contributed (22 in 18 Balls 4×2). Abdullah Ejaz 33 in 18 Balls (4×6), Khalid Mehmood 20* in 34 Balls (4×2), Iftikhar Khurram 12 in 12 Balls (4×2). Fayyaz Ahmed (SLA) 3-21, Mehmood (ROS) 2-18.
