Colombo. (Sports Reporter) The four-nation Physical Disability Champions Trophy will begin tomorrow, Sunday, at the BOI Cricket Ground, Colombo. In the first match on the opening day, hosts Sri Lanka will face England at 09:30am, while in the second match, Pakistan and India will face a high-voltage clash at 01:30pm. There will be a grand opening ceremony before the start of the tournament. A press conference was held today, Saturday, regarding the tournament. Speaking on the occasion, Team Manager PPDCA Amiruddin Ansari said that Pakistan has started physical disability cricket and it is very happy to see it today. Like other countries, organizing the PD Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka will open new avenues for the promotion of PD cricket. I congratulate Sri Lanka on organizing the PD Champions Trophy here, I am very grateful to the Pakistan Cricket Board for its full support as always. Pakistan PD captain Abdullah Ijaz is optimistic about the success of the Pakistani team. President PPDCA Imran Balwani has also expressed his best wishes for the success of the national PD team.
