Sarfaraz Ahmed Encourages Pakistan PD Team Ahead of Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka

RAWALPINDI (Assorts Reporter) Former Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed on Tuesday appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Physical Disability team in terms of cricketing skills and expressed his best wishes for the Physical Disability Champions Trophy T20 competition starting from January 12 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Speaking during the visit of the conditioning and skills development training camp of the squad going to Sri Lanka, the former captain, Sarfaraz, told the players to keep things simple and play positive cricket with hard work and perform at their best. My best wishes are with you. I have known PD cricket for quite some time and have visited various camps of the national PD team before this. Sarfaraz advised that in any situation, do not panic and keep things simple. “I am sure that Pakistan has the potential to win the Champions Trophy title because you guys have also performed brilliantly everywhere.” On this occasion, the former captain paid tribute to the efforts of General Secretary PPDCA Amiruddin for the promotion of cricket. Camp Incharge Level 4 Coach Sabih Azhar shielded former captain Sarfraz Ahmed and Regional Head Javed Ashraf shielded Head Coach PCB Iqbal Imam on behalf of PDCA. The two-day camp of the Pakistan PD cricket team concluded.
Rafi Hashmi, Rao Javed and Media Manager Muhammad Nizam were also present on this occasion.
