KARACHI: (Sports Reporter): Defending Championship Sardar’s of Baluchistan Disabled beat King of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disabled in the final of the second NBP Disabled Twenty20 Pentangular Cup and retain the title at the RLCA Ground in Gulberg here on yesterday. Gul Mohammad undefeated 78 while the Matloob Qureshi hit 45 both added 104 in 74 balls for the first wicket after Balochistan, who also won the inaugural tournament, set the target of 170.
Balochistan won with seven deliveries to spare with Gul Mohammad being declared the Man-of-the-Match for his 56-balls knock that including six fours and a six. Matloob Qureshi scored 45 runs in 35 balls with 5 fours. Balochistan captain Jahanzaib Tiwana also played wall for his team’s he scored 34 runs in 17 balls with the help of 2 fours and 1 six. Slow left-armer Fayyaz Ahmed claimed two wicket for 33 runs.
Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa scored 169-6 after decided to bat first winning the toss. Opener Wajid Alam scored 30 runs in 15 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes, Tauseef Ahmed 43 off 33 balls, four fours and one six and Rehan Ghani 51 from 43 balls, five fours and one six made 74 runs second-wicket partnership. Off-spinner Mehdi Hasan and Leg-spinner Umaiz-ur-Rehman two got wickets each for 27 and 28 runs, respectively.

Balochistan Captain Jahanziab Tiwana collected the winners’ trophy and Rs: 50,000 and Nihar Alam Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received the runners-up trophy and cash award of Rs: 25,000.
Individual awards, Balochistan’s Jahanzaib Tiwana and Matloob Qureshi shared the best batsman’s prize, Abdullah Afridi was the player of the tournament while their team-mate Mehdi Hasan was adjudged the tournament’s best bowler. Abdul Waheed, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wicket-keeper, was the best fielder.
