Fayyaz Ahmed, a spectator of courage and bravery, Recorded first to international hat trick

While Pakistan Cricket has got many famous cricketers including Younis Khan from Mardan, a populous region in the northern part of the country, Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association has also got many talented and enthusiastic players, one of whom is Fayyaz Ahmed. ۔ After suffering a severe polio outbreak at the age of five, his right hand stopped working and his limb became paralyzed. However, he later regained consciousness. Encouraged, they returned to normal life. At such a young age, he gained so much self-confidence that even when people call him disabled, they start thinking, lest Fayyaz Ahmed should get angry. Despite his passion for cricket, he did not play cricket till the age of twelve. Played because being disabled did not give them a chance in the area. Even in his early school years, he was just a spectator watching cross-school cricket matches.

Belonging to the mountainous region of Shergarh, Fayyaz Khan was not only physically strong but also endowed with a fertile mind by nature, which is why he faced every difficulty with a smile despite being disabled. At his urging and repeated insistence, one of his teachers, Muhammad Nawaz, allowed him to play the first match for the school when he was in the eighth grade. From school, he played very good cricket against normal teams, and the encouragement from his teacher also made his game better. He was a left-arm spinner, gifted with the ability to spin the ball fast, and he won many matches for his school. Gradually, rumors of his cricket spread everywhere. Along with the school, he was given the status of a local hero in his area.

Fayyaz Ahmed knew very well that this was not my destination and that I had to go far. Due to its remote location, they rarely had the opportunity to bowl at the nets. In this situation, they set up a separate net for themselves with their help and started continuous practice of spin bowling with their left hand and their skills. but did a lot of work. When disabled cricket started in Pakistan, he gave trials to Peshawar and was selected; he made his mark on all the teams in the first championship. He also praised his bowling, after which he continued to work hard. Meanwhile, the Pakistan team was formed for the tour of Malaysia and Singapore. Fayyaz Ahmed’s name was among the reserve players, and he was very happy.

But nature approved of something else. Fayyaz Ahmed was made a part of the squad at the last minute by dropping a league spinner who made a place in the national team for breach of discipline. He was very happy at that time, he decided that he would not miss this opportunity and he did so. ۔ The best coach of Pakistan cricket Sabih Azhar also worked hard with him to hone his bowling skills. He was the best bowler in his first International Tour where he took 14 wickets in five matches. Was He played more international tournaments and matches for the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Team and set a record that will remain with him till the Day of Judgment.

In Bangladesh’s five-nation cricket tournament, he scored a hat-trick in a match against traditional rival India to give Pakistan a memorable victory. He is also the first bowler in the world to score a hat-trick in international disabled cricket. He took four wickets for 14 runs in the match. It was the most memorable match of his life. “It is a great honor for any Pakistani cricketer to play a match against India.” Fayyaz Ahmed said in an enthusiastic tone. “I not only played the match but also scored a hat trick in it, so you can’t imagine my happiness, the memories of this performance still create new excitement and enthusiasm in me today, this pleasure is the same feeling. He could have been on the ground. ” On his return to Pakistan after this brilliant performance, Fayyaz Ahmed was well received not only at Karachi Airport but also in his area which further enhanced his prestige.

He also considers Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association as an equal partner in his achievements and prays that God Almighty give more perseverance to Saleem Karim and Amir uddin Ansari of PDCA so that the journey towards Disabled Cricket continues. Keep
