Mujahid Aslam Khan Bareach, a man from the mountainous land of Balochistan (Second and last part)

“When disabled cricketers from remote areas of Balochistan entered the National Stadium in Karachi for the first time with me, I could feel their inner happiness on their faces.” Muhammad Aslam said with a big smile. “Obviously, he never dreamed that one day he would not only enter the National Stadium Karachi but also play cricket. His feelings and emotions were the same as those of a child who gets his favorite toy without any order. I consider myself fortunate to have brought joy and happiness to the disabled cricketers of Balochistan who were so oppressed and crushed before that even their families may not value them as much as they used to. He got it after joining Quetta and Balochistan Disabled Cricket Team. “

After the first National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship 2008, the players from Balochistan who had participated in this event returned When he informed his family, friends and cricket circles about this cricket, PDCA got an encouraging response. Several new players joined the pool, which resulted in an atmosphere of competition in Balochistan’s disabled cricket. In just two years, the number of players in the Balochistan pool had exceeded 70. The reason for this was that after the first National Disabled Cricket Championship, Mohammad Aslam Bareach and his team did not rest but held several matches in all the districts. At the same time, the search for talented players continued in all the districts of the province, which resulted in their planting of disabled cricket in Balochistan.

Muhammad Aslam Bareach was a member of the Board of Governors of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association as well as a member of the selection committee of the PDCA. Seeing the extraordinary number of players in Balochistan, he appealed to the PDCA to represent at least two teams from Balochistan in the National T20 Cricket Championship. His word was accepted and now every National T20 Disabled Cricket Champions Quetta and Quetta Bolan participate in two ships of Balochistan under the name of Bolan. “Look! It was not easy to lay the foundation of disabled cricket in Balochistan and then promote it.” Muhammad Aslam said. It was Saleem Karim and Amiruddin Ansari, the founders of Disabled Cricket in Pakistan, whose constant encouragement and guidance at every step in this regard gave me the courage to do my job smoothly and today, the situation is in front of you. Three players from Balochistan are currently in the Pakistan National Disabled Cricket Team, what could be a better reward for our efforts?

“Balochistan players have always enjoyed playing in Karachi and that Karachi seems to be their second home.” Muhammad Aslam Bareach continued. “Games around the world have been suspended for the last two years due to the Corona virus and now that the games have been restored and the schedule of the National Disabled Cricket Championship has come, players from both the Balochistan teams are also eager to participate in the event. Are excited We have selected the teams, the players call me two to three times every day and ask when the departure is?۔: It is sports that keep you connected to people from other areas. Balochistan players have friendships with disabled cricketers across the country, including Karachi. And still Balochistan cricketers are eager to play cricket in Karachi and meet their friends here.

“I should have done more for these innocent disabled cricketers of Balochistan, which I have been able to do so far.” Muhammad Aslam said with a sigh of relief. “Despite the fact that the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association provides all the facilities to all disabled cricketers that the Pakistan Cricket Board provides to the players in any first class tournament. It doesn’t end there, I have to take extraordinary care of these players, they have to say and explain the same thing many, many times, because they are innocent, simple and extraordinary people by attracting them to the game. And by giving them the confidence that I feel in happiness, it seems that this is what I have to take from the Creator of the universe and in return I have to give heaven. ”
