Pakistan Disable Cricket Team Captain Nihar’s Aap Beti, Who Proved Himself In The World (part 2)

The first success of “One Hand Master”, the beginning of the journey to the heights

The fame of Nihar Alam had spread in his area even before this school final. Due to polio, one of his hands was paralyzed. To be able to go or to lift light weights, Nihar Alam decided to bat with one hand at the age of eight, in which he practiced to the point of insanity and became so skilled that he could easily play every ball around the wicket on merit. Not only that, but with one hand and the same skill, he could hit a boundary as well as a six. The boys and schoolmates who played with him were jealous of his skills and came to see his practice regularly. Nihar Alam had not only mastered one-handed batting but also spin bowling with one hand. They also used to do it, which made the viewers drown in amazement. It is worth mentioning here that his family members supported him in the matter of cricket and encouraged him at every step.

Until now, Nihar Alam’s practice was to his personal advantage. He had never played a match in the area, but at his insistence, his school’s cricket coach, Mushtaq Ahmad, fielded him as an opener in the final of a local school tournament, where he remained unbeaten, scoring 48 runs to take his school to the final, although his school PT teacher Mushtaq Ahmad had willingly sent him the opener in the final, he was not sure that Nihar Alam will bat so well and completely with his hands that he will win the match for his team, but all his estimates of Nihar Alam’s batting proved to be wrong. On many shots of Nihar Alam, Mushtaq Ahmed himself openly praised and after the match, he hugged and applauded them. At the end of the match, there was no place for Nihar Alam to be happy. He felt like he was floating in the air, has won the World Cup. Surprisingly, this was the first hardball match of Nihar Alam’s life.

After this final, his fame spread further in the villages and surrounding areas and he was considered a regular cricketer, which was the success of his first major despite being disabled. Every young and old who had an understanding and interest in cricket in his area was talking about him. He was also called “One Handmaster”. After this match, the cricket scene in his area also changed. Done, now every team and regular club started offering them to play on their behalf and no village cricket tournament or match would have been completed without the participation of Nihar Alam. He played cricket for various clubs for a short time but then Nihar Alam decided to form his own team. He formed a cricket team called Iran XI of which he was also the captain. Zain Bhai fully cooperated with him and gave his full support. Now that Nihar Alam had his platform, he not only played cricket regularly every day but also worked to improve his batting skills, for which he consulted with the best and the best coaches, regularly watched matches in his region and tried to learn from them as a left-handed batsman.
