Pakistan Disable Cricket Team Captain Nihar’s Aap Beti, who Proved Himself in the World (Part 3)

All-round performances, all around the cricket mind

After the school finals, Nihar Alam played his second match for the Baba Hill Club under the captaincy of Dawood Bhai, who was the first to offer him to play for his team. A hardball tournament started in “Tangi”. Nihar Alam participated in this tournament held at Richie Cricket Ground. Nihar Alam used to do bowling as well as bowling with the same skill, in his second match of the same tournament, Nihar Alam surprised the people once again by taking three wickets through leg spin bowling. Dawood Bhai, the captain of his own team, was also amazed. Nihar Alam had also given his all-round game to the opposing teams during the same tournament. Nihar Alam was also an active and skilled fielder in a match of the same tournament. He not only caught three difficult catches with one hand but also made a run out through his fast and lively throw. He participated in every match of the event, people appreciated his batting and bowling as well as his fielding. Which, of course, made him a hero overnight sensation.

Gradually, Nihar Alam’s fame spread from his village “Tangi” to Charsadda and surrounding areas. Now no tournament in the area would be held without Nihar Alam, when he started his own club, Iran XI. He was also invited to play in every tournament. Nature had given Nihar Alam a “tremendous cricket mind”. In those days, a tape ball tournament was going on in Charsadda. Nihar Alam’s friends insisted that you also come along to watch the final of the tournament. Nihar Alam agreed and he also went to watch the final. Coincidentally, some players of his friends’ favorite team could not reach the ground in time for the match. At the insistence of his friends, Nihar Alam agreed to play the match. He laid down a condition that if his words were followed during the match, then victory in the match is certain, that is what was done. The opposing team was very strong and had very good players but thanks to Nihar Alam’s “cricket mind” the relatively weak team won the final and surprised them. This is the “cricket mind” given to Nihar Alam by nature. Was the first glimpse that made the viewers even more crazy.

There are many such incidents in Nihar Alam’s early cricket which made him famous in his district and surrounding areas. Now people started calling him “Captain” instead of taking his name. His club Iran XI had also become very famous and now people from far and wide used to come to watch his team’s match and especially to watch his game. In his academy, young cricketers started coming to him to learn the mysteries of cricket. Nature had also endowed Nihar Alam with the skill that he could convey his message to others in a very easy and understandable way. He knew how to put it in simple words, which is why the young cricketers who came to him would learn cricket from him as well as get used to it. Asked to work hard, the young cricketer practiced it and improved his game. Meanwhile, Nihar Alam passed matriculation in 2000. However, he did not immediately enter college and kept his focus on cricket and his skills. I made hard work my motto for further growth. (to be continued )
