The Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association did its utmost to provide the cricketing environment to all the disabled cricketers of Pakistan that the PCB provides to its players. With Pakistan playing the first ever cricket series in history at home, the Pakistan Cricket Board’s top cricket grounds, top match officials as well as other things that are necessary for any international match were arranged for it. ۔ The Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association did a lot of work for this series, let me write that it was no less work that it persuaded Afghanistan to play in Pakistan? After the series of T20 and ODI matches between Pakistan and Afghanistan, not only international cricket but also other sports returned to Pakistan.

The first series between Pakistan and Afghanistan on Pakistani soil consisted of three T20 matches and two ODIs, all of which were played at the historic National Stadium Karachi. In the second T20 International match also, the victory was kind to Pakistan in which the Green Shirts won by 34 runs. Fayyaz Ahmed took four wickets for 10 runs and the Afghan side chasing a target of 140 was limited to 105 runs. Hasnain Alam scored 38 and Danish Ahmed 34 for Pakistan. In the third T20 International, the Green Shirts won the series 3-0 with a 17-run victory. However, the Man of the Match award went to Afghan batsman Mohammad Ashraf, who played a brilliant 79-run offensive innings but led his team to victory. Qureshi, scored 51 and Jahanzeb Towana 44, while Amir Ahmed took three wickets.

After winning the T20 series, Pakistan Disabled Cricket Team continued its winning streak by defeating the Afghan team by 109 runs in the first ODI.
