Under the supervision of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association, the development of disabled cricket in Pakistan was progressing rapidly. That is why a large consignment of disabled players was ready in all its 16 regions. It is to be remembered that after ten years of disabled cricket and the quality of the game was already high, Pakistan began to understand the nuances of disabled cricketers, the nuances of cricket and the performance of other players including itself. Disabled cricket was becoming the strongest after normal cricket and at the same time its pool of national and regional players was constantly increasing. In April 2016, the Disabled T20 Pentagonal Cup, featuring the best players in the country, was held in Karachi. Impressed by the work of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association and its ever-growing, new sponsors were now joining the PDCA. The aforementioned Pentangular Cup was also successfully held with new sponsors.
The players for this permanent tournament included in the PDCA calendar year are selected by the regional coaches and the player of any region can play from anywhere. The Central Selection Committee decides which player will play in this tournament from where. In other words, the players of all the teams are selected keeping in mind that no team is weak. We are on par in all the tees so that the best and most competitive cricket can be held. Each player was able to express his abilities openly and in front of the best team.
The PDCA selected the Man of the Match award for each match of the tournament from individuals who supported the PDCA at any stage. It is another virtue of the PDCA that it knows the manners and manner of carrying its supporters with it and above all it honors it, this is what has made the PDCA nationwide. I excelled and was honored. A total of 11 matches were played in this tournament. After 10 matches, the top two teams made it to the finals. The format of the tournament was such that each team had an equal chance to win and stay in the tournament. The matches of the event were played at the best grounds like National Stadium Karachi, Rashid Latif Cricket Academy Ground and UBL Sports Complex, where disabled cricketers from far flung areas of Pakistan enjoyed playing.
Many of these cricketers were the ones who saw the National Stadium for the first time and for the first time they were here as a team player. The glowing faces of new players coming from outside the city in various PDCA events show that this is their first entry in the National Stadium Karachi. Of course, it is thanks to the PDCA that the disabled cricketers go back to their hometowns and proudly tell their families or friends that they played a match at the National Stadium in Karachi and that they played on the field. He shared a dressing room at the National Stadium Karachi and spent memorable moments. Batting and bowling on the wickets that every normal cricketer dreams of. Now it is up to the scribe to decide who will receive the award and by what means.
