The 2nd Match of Best of Three Disabled Colour Kit Cricket Series (40 Overs) 2014 will play today on Wednesday 19th November 2014 9am here at the TMC Ground Gulberg under the auspices of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) for the preparation of upcoming 4th National Disabled Cricket Championship 2014-2015. Karachi Disabled Blues will meet Karachi Disabled Whites. Karachi Disabled Blues 1-0 up in the Series when they got the victory inaugural match against Karachi Disabled Whites. Both the Captains are very much hopeful for the victory in the 2nd match. Hon. Secretary Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) Amir Uddin Ansari said the Final of the Best of Three Series will be held on 3rd December (Would Disabled Day). He also advised to all the players reports of both teams Coach Qamber Ali at TMC Ground Gulberg on Wednesday at 9am.

Karachi (Sports Reporter) November 13, despite a superb knock of 72 by captain Rao Javed Karachi disabled whites suffered a heard breaking Three run defeat against karachi disabled blues in the opening match of the best of three disabled cricket series at the RLCA Ground Gulberg here on Wednesday, The series being held under the auspices of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA). The Honorary secretary Karachi city cricket Association (KCCA) m. Shafiq Kazmi was the Chief Guest at the inaugral ceremony. He lauded the efforts of the PDCA for Disabled Cricket and Crickters National and International level. He aded the KCCA will also support PDCA. At the ceremony PDCA president Salim Karim and Honorary secretary Amiruddin Ansari informed the gathering about the activities of the Association, Member KCCA Executive Council Adil Ahsan, Sarwat Ali, Coach Camber Ali, Affan Zaffar Farooqui and others were also present. Earlier Karachi Disabled Blues batting first and posted a total of 252-7 in allotted 40 overs. With Muhammad Fawwad 61 off 67 balls with 4 fours, Arif Rechard 59 off 56 balls with 4 fours, Danish Ahmed 31* in 21 balls with 4 boundries, Waheed Khan 27 in 20 balls with 3 boundries. Left arm spinner Riasat Ali 2- 28. In reply Karachi Disabled whites failed to acheived their target and all out 249 runs in 39.4 overs. Man of the match Captain Rao Javed scored a brilliant half century 72 runs just 56 balls with four boundries, M. Kalam scored 34 runs in 29 balls with 4 fours, Riasat Ali 32 in 32 balls with four boundries, M. Rehan contributed 25 runs including 2 fours. Right arm Medium pacers Ali Asghar bowled superbly and graved 3 wickets only for 40 runs while Haroon Rasheed captured 2-41.
