General Secretary PPDCA and Tournament Director Ameeruddin Ansari while explaining the details of Shahid Afridi Foundation National PDT 20 Cricket Championship 2024 said that this time the champion The tournament will be played under a new format, which will consist of two parts, the first part will be called Grade One, while the second part will be called Grade Two. The winning team of the next year will be included in grade one. Grade one includes Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, Quetta, Hyderabad, Karachi, Bahawalpur and Multan, while in grade two, Rawalpindi, Abbottabad, Azad Kashmir, KPK Star, Larkana, Sialkot, Quetta, Bolan and Faisalabad are included.
Grade one championship matches will be played in Karachi and Lahore, while grade two matches will be played in Faisalabad and Islamabad. After trials in 16 regions, the teams have been finalized. The matches of the first stage of the championship grades will start from Monday, May 6 at Rashid Latif Academy, which will be played on a single league basis until May 8, where teams from Multan, Quetta, Hyderabad and Karachi will compete. The winning team of the first stage of Grades will compete in the final against the winning team of the second stage of Grade One in Lahore. The matches of Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Bahawalpur teams included in the grades will be held in Race Course Park Lahore.
