Waqif Shah’s brilliant all-round performance in the Semi-Final, take five wickets including hat trick, the second Semi-Final will be played in Karachi

Islamabad Physical Disabled Team defeated Peshawar Physical Disabled Team after an easy match to qualify for the final of the ICRC Presents SAF National Physical Disabled T-20 Cricket Championship. The winner of the second Semi-Final will be the team which includes Karachi Physical Disabled Team and Bahawalpur Physical Disabled Team.

In the first semi-final of the ongoing National Championship organized by Pakistan Physical Disabled Cricket Association at Bhutto Ground Islamabad, Islamabad Physical Disabled Team defeated Peshawar Physical Disabled Team by 73 runs after a one-sided contest and advanced to the title match. Peshawar Physical Disabled Team won the toss and invited Islamabad Physical Disabled Team to bat first. Islamabad Physical Disabled Team scored 194 runs for the loss of two wickets in 20 overs. Adil Abbasi scored 89 off 63 balls with the help of eight fours and two sixes while Mohammad Noman Scored 65 off 48 balls with the help of eight fours. Both of them scored 168 runs in the first wicket partnership which laid the foundation for victory. Waqif Shah scored 22 off 8 balls, including three fours and a six. Nihar Alam and Osama took one wicket each for Peshawar Physical Disabled Team.

In reply, Peshawar Physical Disabled Team team got out at 121. Adeel Khan scored 30 off 17 balls with the help of 6 fours and Wajid Alam scored 21 runs. Waqif Shah from Islamabad Physical Disabled Team broke the back of Peshawar Physical Disabled Team by taking 5 wickets for 13 runs. He also made a brilliant hat trick. Zubair Khan took  two wickets for 17 runs. Waqif Shah was declared man of the match.

The second Semi-Final of the championship will be played in Karachi between Bahawalpur Physical Disabled Team and Karachi Physical Disabled Team.
