KARACHI. The Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) has signed an MoU with Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association, to support the Physically Disabled Cricketers of Pakistan. SAF under its initiative of Sports is lending support to PDCA for the betterment of Physically Disabled Cricketers of Pakistan. SAF and PDCA have signed a MoU at the Residence of Chairman SAF Mr. Afridi on Saturday in Karachi. Former Pakistani Captain Said: “These are people of determination and zeal, I saw the talent of the physically disabled cricketers of Pakistan in 2012 at ICC Academy and it is not possible to describe in words what these cricketers have done, I appreciate the hard work they put in their performance, they won many international events in England, Dubai and other countries. Shahid Afridi, Chairman of the Foundation, assured SAF will fully support to PDCA for the noble cause also promote to physically disabled cricketers of Pakistan, former captain further said that the Foundation will work with PDCA for National and International activities.

Amir Uddin Ansari, The secretary PDCA, thanked SAF and said: “The PDCA is feeling very proud to join hands with SAF, PDCA will continue to play their part in the development of physically disabled cricketers of Pakistan, under this partnership.” Amir Uddin Ansari is very hopeful for the betterment of Physically Disabled Cricketers of the Country with SAF. He also thanked to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for their kind support for upcoming National Championship.
