National PD Cricketers’ Performance Worldwide is Impressive and Commendable; Full Support Will Be Extended at All Levels: State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmad
It is an Honor for Pakistan to Be the Founder of PD Cricket; PD Cricketers Deserve the Same Privileges as Other Cricketers: State Bank Governor
Karachi (Sports Reporter) – The outstanding performance of national physically disabled (PD) cricketers across the world is highly praiseworthy. Being the founding nation of PD cricket is a great honor for Pakistan, and just like other cricket boards, it is essential to provide adequate facilities and benefits to national PD cricketers.
These views were expressed by the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Mr. Jameel Ahmad, during an important meeting held yesterday with a two-member delegation of the Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA). The delegation included senior officials of the association, Imran Balwani and Shakeel Sharif.
The delegation briefed the Governor in detail about the performance of the PPDCA, support from the Pakistan Cricket Board, international tours, participation in the Asia Cup, and the upcoming national championship scheduled for next month. Governor Jameel Ahmad expressed his delight over the remarkable international performances of the national PD cricketers and their efforts in bringing pride to the nation. He praised their services along with those of all regional heads of the PPDCA and assured full support to the association at all levels.
On this occasion, the officials of the PPDCA also presented a commemorative shield to Governor Jameel Ahmad on behalf of the association.

ان خیالات کا اظہار گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک جناب جمیل احمد نے گزشتہ روز پاکستان فزیکل ڈس ایبیلٹی کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن (PPDCA) کے دو رکنی وفد سے اہم ملاقات کے دوران کیا۔ وفد میں ایسوسی ایشن کے سینئر آفیشلز عمران بلوانی اور شکیل شریف شامل تھے۔
وفد نے گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک کو پی پی ڈی سی اے کی کارکردگی، پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کی سپورٹ، بین الاقوامی دوروں، ایشیا کپ میں شرکت اور اگلے ماہ شیڈول قومی چیمپیئن شپ کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔ گورنر جمیل احمد نے قومی پی ڈی کرکٹرز کی بین الاقوامی میدانوں میں شاندار کارکردگی اور ملک کا نام روشن کرنے پر خوشی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے ان کی اور پی پی ڈی سی اے تمام ریجنل ہیڈز کی خدمات کو سراہا اور ایسوسی ایشن کو ہر سطح پر تعاون کی یقین دہانی کرائی۔
اس موقع پر پی پی ڈی سی اے کے عہدیداران نے گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک جناب جمیل احمد کو ایسوسی ایشن کی جانب سے یادگاری شیلڈ بھی پیش کی۔
The Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) is responsible for the promotion and expansion of the game through its associate and affiliate members throughout the country for all the Physically Disabled Cricketers of the country and PDCA is also recognized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) who is the governing body of cricket in Pakistan.
