Peshawar Physical Disabled Team defeated KP Stars Physical Disabled Team by eight wickets to advance to the quarter-finals of the. Wajid was declared Man of the Match for his brilliant innings of 53 runs. The match played between Peshawar Physical Disabled Team and KP Star Physical Disabled Team teams at Gymkhana Cricket Ground Peshawar yesterday proved to be one-sided in which Peshawar Physical Disabled Team won by 8 wickets and paved the way for the quarter finals.
ICRC Representative in Pakistan Farrukh Islamo was the chief guest on the occasion. Pakistan Physical Disabled Cricket Association Tournament Secretary Jamil Kamran, Deputy Head ICRC Peshawar Zartasha Qaiser Khan, Pakistan Sports Writers Federation President Amjad Aziz Malik, ICRC Media Head Azaz-ur-Rehman, Pakistan Red Crescent Peshawar Spokesperson Zeeshan Anwar Including other personalities were also present. KP Star Physical Disabled Team scored 117 runs in 20 overs while playing first. In reply, Peshawar Physical Disabled Team achieved its target easily and won by 8 wickets. Wajid Alam remained man of the match with 53 runs. It should be noted that 16 teams from all over the country are participating in this championship.
In the second match, Peshawar Physical Disabled Team scored 170 runs. Adeel Khan played a brilliant innings of 68 of 35 balls which included 6 fours and 3 sixes. Sajjad Gul took 3 for 36 while Mian Jan took two wickets for 13 runs. In reply, KP Star Physical Disabled Team scored 92 runs. Asadullah and Azmat scored 15 runs each. Left-arm spinner Fayyaz Ahmed took three for 26 while skipper Nahar Alam and Asadullah took two wickets each. Adeel Khan was awarded Man of the Match for his aggressive 68 runs.
The third quarterfinal of the event between Peshawar Physical Disabled Team and Lahore Physical Disabled Team teams will be played on Friday at 10 am at Peshawar Gymkhana.

پشاور ڈس ایبلڈ نے کے پی اسٹارڈس ایبلڈکو آٹھ وکٹوں سے شکست دے کر آئی سی آر سی پریذنٹس ایس اے ایف ساتویں نیشنل ڈس ایبلڈ ٹی20کرکٹ چیمپئن شپ کے کوارٹر فائنل میں جگہ بنالی ۔ واجد 53 رنز کی شاندار اننگز کھیل کر مین آف دی میچ قرار پائے،تفصیلات کے مطابق پاکستان ڈس ایبلڈ کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے زیر انتظام ، شاہد آفریدی فاءونڈیشن اور آئی سی آر سی کے باہمی اشتراک سے 7ویں نیشنل ڈس ایبلڈ کرکٹ چیمپئن شپ کے سلسلے میں گزشتہ روز جمخانہ کرکٹ گراونڈ پشاور میں پشاور ڈس ایبلڈ اور کے پی اسٹار ڈس ایبلڈ کی ٹیموں کے مابین کھیلا گیا میچ یکطرفہ ثابت ہوا جس میں پشاور ڈس ایبلڈ نے 8 وکٹ سے کامیابی حاصل کر کے کوارٹر فائنل کی راہ ہموار کی ۔ اس موقع پر آئی سی آر سی کے پاکستان میں نمائندے فروخ اسلامو مہمان خصوصی تھے ۔ پاکستان ڈس ایبلڈ کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے ٹورنامنٹ سیکرٹری جمیل کامران،ڈپٹی ہیڈ آئی سی آر سی پشاور زرتاشہ قیصر خان،پاکستان اسپورٹس راءٹرز فیڈریشن کے صدر امجد عزیز ملک،آئی سی آر سی کے میڈیا ہیڈا عزازالرحمان، پاکستان ہلال احمر پشاور کے ترجمان زیشان انور سمیت دیگر شخصیات بھی موجود تھیں ۔ کے پی اسٹار ڈس ایبلڈ نے پہلے کھیلتے ہوئے 20اوورز میں 117 رنز بنائے جواب میں خیبر پختونخوا ڈس ایبلڈ نے اپنا ہدف آسانی کیساتھ حاصل کرکے 8 وکٹوں سے فتح حاصل کرلی ۔ واجد عالم 53 رنز کیساتھ میں آف دی میچ رہے ۔ واضح رہے کہ چیمپئن شپ میں ملک بھر سے 16 ٹی میں حصہ لے رہی ہیں ۔ دوسرے میچ میں پشاور ڈس ایبلڈ نے 170 رنزاسکور کئے ۔ عدیل خان 35گیندوں پر 68 رنز کی شاندار اننگز کھیلی جس میں 6 چوکے اور 3 چھکے شامل تھے، ادیب الطاف خان 23 گیندوں پر 38 رنز بناکر دوسرے نمایاں بیٹر رہے ۔ سجاد گل نے 36 رنز دے کر 3 جبکہ میاں جان نے 13 رنز کے عوض دو وکٹیں حاصل کیں ۔ جوابی بیٹنگ میں کے پی اسٹار ڈس ایبلڈ 92 رنز بناسکی ۔ اس کی جانب سے اسد اللہ اور عظمت نے 15-15رنز بنائے ۔ لیفٹ آرم اسپنر فیاض احمد نے26 رنز کے عوض تین جبکہ کپتان نہار عالم اور اسد اللہ نے دو دو وکٹیں لیں ۔ عدیل خان کو جارحانہ 68 رنز بنانے پر مین آف دی میچ ایوارڈ دیا گیا ۔ جمعہ کو پشاور ڈس ایبلڈ اور لاہور ڈس ایبلڈ کی ٹیموں کے درمیان ایونٹ کا تیسرا کواٹرفائنل پشاور جیم خانہ میں صبح 10 بجے کھیلاجائے گا ۔
