Defeat Islamabad to secure a place in the final, Peshawar beats Bahawalpur, Muhammad Arsalan’s Fifty
Rawalpindi / Karachi (Sports Reporter): Rawalpindi has secured a place in the final of the Pepsi National PD T20 Cricket Championship by winning all three of its matches in the second phase.
The second phase of the championship, held under the auspices of the Pakistan Physically Disabled Cricket Association at Ayub Park Rawalpindi, concluded today. Two matches were played on the third and final day. Rawalpindi defeated Islamabad by seven wickets to enter the final, while Peshawar defeated Bahawalpur in the other match.

Match 1: Peshawar vs. Bahawalpur
Peshawar defeated Bahawalpur by three wickets.
Bahawalpur batted first, scoring 71 runs for 9 wickets in 15 overs.
Abid Hussain scored 26 and Abdul Khaliq scored 11 runs.
Peshawar’s Bowlers: Gohar Khan took three wickets for 11 runs, and Atif Khan dismissed two players.

Islamabad batted first and scored 110 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Shah Bahram scored 43 runs off 42 balls (five fours), and M. Momin scored 23 runs (two fours).
Rawalpindi’s Bowlers: Rasool Shah and Abdul Basit each took two wickets.
Rawalpindi’s Chase: They achieved the target in 18 overs, losing three wickets.
Muhammad Arsalan scored a brilliant 62 runs off 60 balls (five fours and one six).
Waheedullah scored 24 runs off 17 balls (two sixes), and M. Ikram scored 19 runs.
M. Nauman took two wickets for Islamabad.
Player of the Match: Muhammad Arsalan was declared Player of the Match.

Muhammad Arsalan received his Player of the Match award from Sabih Azhar, Head Coach of the Pakistan PD Team. Amir Uddin Ansari, Secretary-General of the Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association, was also present on the occasion.

The championship final will be played in Karachi, where Rawalpindi will face Multan.
