Famous businessman Shakeel Sharif has become the new Chairman of the Pakistan Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA).
It is an honor to be associated with PPDCA. Disability PD cricketers are our heroes, and I will strive to ensure they get the recognition they truly deserve.
President of PPDCA, Imran Balwani, and General Secretary, Amiruddin Ansari, welcomed the new Chairman and congratulated him.
Karachi.(Sports Reporter) Karachi’s well-known businessman Shakeel Sharif has been the new Chairman of the Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA) recognized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). A simple and dignified ceremony was held at the PPDCA head office in Karachi yesterday. The ceremony was presided over by PPDCA President Imran Balwani, while the Association’s General Secretary Amiruddin Ansari, Fielding Coach Rao Javed and Media Manager Muhammad Nizam were also present. at the start the General Secretary Amiruddin Ansari briefed Chairman Shakeel Sharif on PPDCA’s performance at the national and international levels and its future programs.
In his brief speech, PPDCA President Imran Balwani said, “It has always been my wish that PPDCA grows stronger and that disability cricket receives more recognition. To further this cause, I offered my long-time associate, the renowned businessman Shakeel Sharif, the position of Chairman, which he gladly accepted, and he is here with us today at the head office. I am extremely grateful to him for this.”
Chairman Shakeel Sharif, in his speech, said, “Being associated with PPDCA as Chairman is an honor for me. Disability cricketers are our heroes, and I will ensure they get the recognition they deserve.” He further added, “When General Secretary Amiruddin Ansari informed me about the performance of the disability cricketers and the challenges they face, I was amazed to learn that despite limited resources, they have managed to take the national disability team on tours around the world. I salute him for this, and together, we will work to promote disability cricket and address the issues they face.”
President Imran Balwani and General Secretary Amiruddin Ansari welcomed Chairman Shakeel Sharif and congratulated him on his new position. The event concluded with a prayer for success.

کراچی۔ (اسپورٹس رپورٹر) کراچی کے معروف بزنس مین شکیل شریف پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ ( پی سی بی) سے منظور شدہ پاکستان فزیکل ڈس ایبیلٹی کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن (پی پی ڈی سی اے) کے نئے چیئرمین بن گئے۔ گزشتہ روز ایسوسی ایشن کے ہیڈ آفس کراچی میں منعقدہ ایک سادہ اور پر وقار تقریب منعقد ہوئی، تقریب کی صدارت صدر پی پی ڈی سی اے عمران بلوانی نے کی جبکہ ایسوسی ایشن کے جنرل سیکریٹری امیر الدین انصاری، فیلڈنگ کوچ راؤ جاوید اور میڈیا مینیجر محمد نظام بھی اس موقع پر موجود تھے۔ تقریب کے آغاز میں جنرل سیکریٹری امیر الدین انصاری نے پی پی ڈی سی اے کی قومی و عالمی سطح پر کارکردگی اور مستقبل کے پروگرام کے حوالے سے نئے چیئرمین شکیل شریف کو بریف کیا۔ صدر پی پی ڈی سی اے عمران بلوانی نے اپنے مختصر خطاب میں کہا کہ میری روز اول سے یہی خواہش ہے کہ پی پی ڈی سی اے مضبوط ہو اور پی ڈی کرکٹ کو فروغ ملے، اسی سلسلے کو آگے بڑھانے کے لیئے میں نے میرے دیرینہ ساتھی معروف بزنس مین شکیل شریف کو پی پی ڈی سی اے کا چیئر مین بننے کی آفر کی جو انھوں نے بخوشی قبول کرلی اور ہمارے ساتھ ہیڈ آفس میں تقریب میں موجود ہیں، جس پر میں ان کا انتہائی مشکور ہوں۔
چیئرمین شکیل شریف نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ پی پی ڈی سی اے کے ساتھ بحیثیت چیئرمین منسلک ہونا میرے لیے اعزاز ہے، پی ڈی کرکٹرز ہمارے ہیرو ہیں اور کوشش ہوگی کہ ان کو ان کا اصل مقام مل سکے۔ انھوں نے مزید کہا کہ جنرل سیکریٹری امیر الدین انصاری نے جب مجھے پی ڈی کرکٹ اور کرکٹرز کی کارکردگی کے حوالے سے آگاہ کیا تو میں حیران ہوا کہ انھوں نے محدود وسائل میں رہتے ہوئے قومی پی ڈی ٹیم کو دنیا بھر کے دورے کروائے ہیں جس پر میں انھیں سلام پیش کرتا ہوں اور ہم سب مل کر پی ڈی کرکٹ کے فروغ اور درپیش مسائل کے حل کے لیئے مل جل کر کام کریں گے۔
صدر عمران بلوانی اور جنرل سیکریٹری امیر الدین انصاری نے چیئرمین شکیل شریف کی آمد پر خوش آمدید کہا اور چیئرمین بنے پر مبارک پیش کی۔ آخر میں چیئرمین نے دعائے خیر کی۔

The Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) is responsible for the promotion and expansion of the game through its associate and affiliate members throughout the country for all the Physically Disabled Cricketers of the country and PDCA is also recognized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) who is the governing body of cricket in Pakistan.
