KARACHI- The General Secretary of Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA) Amiruddin Ansari on Wednesday announced 16-member Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Team to feature in Physical Disability Chaimplons Trophy 2025 Colombo Sri Lanka from 12th to 21st January after the approval of President PPDCA Imran Balwani, General Secretary PPDCA Amiruddin Ansari has announced the Pakistan PD Team Squad.
Amiruddin Ansari speaking at the DHA Sports Club Moin Khan Cricket Academy in connection with Pakistan teams participation in the PD Champions Trophy said: “The selection of the Pakistan team was very difficult because we had a bunch of new talented players who performed well at domestic levels. The selection was done after players took part in the training and fitness camp at RLCA supervised by the head coach Sabih Azhar, along with Rafey Hashmi, member selection committee Rao Javaid.
7 players retained from the Physical Disability Series 2019 and 9 new talented players, Abdullah Ijaz (Captain), Muhammad Arsalan, Saifullah, Matloob Qureshi, Huzaifa Khan, Muhammad Noman, Shahid Watto, Muhammad Shahzad, Ghulam Muhammad, Hamza Hameed, Abdul Khaliq, Zubair Saleem, Mominullah, Abdul Basit, Hammad Shoukat and Waqif Shah.
The Head coach Sabih is very confident in the selected players and said that it is balanced side and can win the PD Champions Trophy.

Pakistan PD team will Depart to Sri Lanka on 9th of January, team will be playing the first match against India on 12th of January.
The Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) is responsible for the promotion and expansion of the game through its associate and affiliate members throughout the country for all the Physically Disabled Cricketers of the country and PDCA is also recognized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) who is the governing body of cricket in Pakistan.
